Frame Transfer High Resolution B&W Megapixel EMCCD cameras

The CoolView TC1000 is a high performance Electron Multiplied Megapixel black end white camera with extended cooling giving near single photon sensitivity.

The Coolview TC1000 is ideal for imaging extremely weak photonic emission in real time such as with single molecule fluorescence imaging or confocal microscopy.

The EM gain can be boosted in excess of 2,000:1, approaching that of single stage image intensifiers. Gain calibration against temperature allows accurate gain control in an extremely reproducible manner.

The quantum efficiency of the sensor peaks at 65% in the visible region but allows imaging from UV up to NIR spectral range.

The frame transfer architecture combined with low noise electronics allows fast image acquisition > 100 fps using either binning and or region of interest on the CCD.

A special kinetic mode allows singles stripe images to be acquired very fast up to 1000 fps if necessary using full vertical binning.

High Resolution Very Low Noise IL CCD camera

The FDI is a high resolution, high speed, digital imaging camera using a 1392 x 1040 interline CCD. The camera features a 25MHz read out rate and can integrate images on the CCD, for up to 10 minutes, with 12 bit digitization.

Thanks to an interline vertical register next to each photo sensitive pixel, the FDI provides built in fast shuttering capability down to less than 1 microsecond. Two consecutive frames can be recorded with very short inter frame time making possible spray particle analysis.

Correlated double sampling combined with digital signal processing allows achieving read out noise down to 5 electrons at 12.5MHz. The camera clock speed can be turned to 25MHz by software, fast acquisition frame rates up to >100 fps can be achieved using binning and or sub area of interest.
Thanks to good cooling and native low dark current specifications, the camera allows up to many minutes on chip integration without being disturbed by dark current noise contribution.

FDI functions include full vertical binning for spectroscopic and line scan operation, (windowing) sub-area readout and extended dynamic range mode up to 16 bit digitization.

Very High Resolution Very Low Noise Dual Tap CCD camera

The CoolView VHR is a high resolution CCD camera which 11 and 16 megapixel options: 4000x2672 pixels and 4872x3248 pixels respectively.

Dual tap 20 MHz low noise read out electronics allows fast read out shutterless operation at up to 3fps full resolution, and up to 15 fps with binning.

The interline transfer architecture enables fast built in shuttering capability for smear free very high resolution image acquisition.

A dual sensor configuration with 22 and 32 megapixel resolution are available whilst keeping the same acquisition frame rate as a standalone camera.

The camera features extremely good antiblooming suppression which will avoid any bleeding artifacts, up to >300 x its saturation level.

This makes the camera ideal for characterizing bright both bright / dimmed light emissions such as for LCD / plasma panel inspection, aerial imaging, 2D proteomics.

Extended dynamic range mode provides up to 16 bit digitization.
